American Business Systems has been building and improving its accounting system since 1978. It has numerous customers around the world and is available in English, Spanish and Arabic. ABS has special systems for the printing industry, Airconditioning companies, point of sale for retailers and warehouse system for manufacturers. Jobs, Call outs and warranties can all be managed with ABS, and SMS messages can be generated from the service centre.

ABS is much more than an accounting system. It is a management system for a wide range of businesses. In the period 1997 to 1999 Electronic Business Management modified the system to allow for the GST. This means that the specialist facilities needed by medium sized manufacturing companies is available in Australia at “off the shelf” prices.

The system runs on a Linux Server and users have a standard desktop PC to access the server. The text based interface provides very fast data entry for operators and the ODBC interface allows management to access the data using Microsoft Office packages.

You get the best of both worlds. The ease and speed of text based data entry and graphical SQL (Structured Query Language) driven reports in Excel or MS Access.
